THIS CITY

It seems that New Orleans is in constant flux between coexisting with it's natural surroundings - the roots that break through concrete, the water pushing against the edge of the levees - and being taken over by them. This state of being adds a sense of poetry and magic to the area, but also serves as a persistent reminder that while things can grow from this city, it requires work and love from those who live here to keep it from fragmenting into something un-salvageable.
