This work was carried out in Fall 2017 as part of a Graduate Teaching Research Fellowship at Tulane School of Architecture by Max Warshaw, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Benjamin Smith.
The project addressed pragmatism and playfulness of two modest volumes totaling approximately 200 square feet, on a confined residential site in New Orleans. The studies explored the elevations of various rooflines meant to evoke a whimsical character created by the dialogue between the two volumes.
